DUI and DOT Hearings

Boise, Idaho Lawyer Helping You Keep Your License After a DUI

Am I going to lose my license? This is one of the most common questions people ask when they have been charged with DUI. While each case is different, working with a forceful and experienced criminal defense attorney is the best way to protect your license.

At the Boise, Idaho, law office of Bublitz Law, P.C, I represent people who have been accused of drunk driving in Idaho. Part of my thorough and effective representation is helping them keep their driver's licenses after an arrest. I represent clients at a DOT hearing if they failed a BAC test. I also represent clients at BAC hearings before a judge if they refused a BAC test.

Worried about losing your driver's license? Pick up the phone and call attorney Gerald Bublitz now at 208-344-5500. You only have seven days from the time of your arrest or citation to schedule a DOT hearing.

The Law on License Suspension

If you refuse to take a blood, breath or urine test, your driver's license can be revoked for one year. If you take a DUI test and are found to have a BAC of .08 or more, you could lose your license from 90 days to six months on the first offense.

CDL holders may face special consequences when it comes to license suspension after a DUI. I also help people keep commercial driver's licenses (CDLs) by taking aggressive and complete legal action.
