The Law on Gang Crimes in Idaho
The Idaho Criminal Gang Enforcement Act creates harsh legal consequences for gang members who engage in a pattern of criminal gang activity. Gang activity may include commission of one of the following offenses, if done with two or more gang members on several occasions:
- Burglary and robbery
- Murder or manslaughter
- Drug charges (like possession with intent to deliver)
- Assault and battery
- Theft crimes
- Kidnapping (often called false imprisonment)
The Act also makes it a crime to supply weapons to a known gang member. At Bublitz Law, P.C., I represent people facing the consequences of gun charges related to restricted persons in Idaho, as well as other weapon offenses.
